Since closing our physical store, one of the things we’ve missed most is being in a room with you.

The spontaneous conversations. The moment you try on something you might never have picked for yourself and your whole face changes. The stories we share about our bodies, our wardrobes and the versions of ourselves we’re growing into. Those moments have always been at the heart of Collective Closets.

So many of you have told us you miss that experience too: being able to feel the fabric, see how a piece moves on your body and ask, “How else could I wear this?” Sometimes, a conversation in front of a mirror opens up possibilities that a photograph simply can’t.

On Saturday 7 November, we’re bringing that feeling back with the Shape Shifters Pop-Up, celebrating our collaboration with Mariam Farah of MariiMade.

This collection has been a labour of love-a meeting of our creative worlds, our cultural influences and our shared belief that clothing should leave room for you to make it your own.

We’ve imagined these pieces worn in different ways, by different women, through different moments in their lives. Now we’re excited to see what you do with them.

Come spend the day with us and:

• Experience Shape Shifters in person. Feel the fabrics, explore the details and try on the pieces you’ve had your eye on.

• Meet the designers. Hear the stories behind the collaboration and ask us your questions.

• Explore new ways to wear the collection. Play with layering, shape and styling, with a little guidance from us.

• Find your fit. Chat with us about alterations and the adjustments that could make a piece feel more like yours.

• Collect your online order. If you’ve selected pop-up collection, come pick up your pieces and say hello.

There are only 100 pieces in this collection, with some colourways available as one-offs. Each offers its own possibilities: a sheer layer over your favourite separates, a strapless dress with a crisp shirt, a flowing silhouette paired with the jeans you already love.

Bring your curiosity. Bring a friend. Try the colour you’re drawn to but usually talk yourself out of. We’d love to help you discover how these pieces could live in your wardrobe.

More than anything, we’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones and sharing a little of the joy that has gone into creating Shape Shifters.
